2 sides of life
hmmm...9 Dec...such a familiar date...wahahaz...of cos...it's my best bud, ong's 18th bdae!!! so i dedicated my lst para to her...18 yrs old represents the first step stepping into adulthood...becoming a demure lady and attracting guys...hahahaz...cos it's the primetime age for LOVE...hohohoho...blossoming time...ok lahz...besides all the mushy stuff...wish her all da best!move on to my sucky job hunting...i really wan to give up on finding sales job already...last tues...went wif ong for a walk-in interview for sales associate job in robinsons...first of all...it's not an interview...juz briefing & filling up application form...but there're many ppl who wan to apply for this job and we ended up waiting for hours for the briefing that lasted less than 5 mins...i begin to dislike job interviews tat request ppl to wait for their call...do u noe it's troublesome for ppl to brood over phonecalls...and ppl restrain to find other jobs, thinking tat they may be employed...didnt know finding a good job with good hrs & good pay is hard...obviously...i did not receive any calls from robinsons cos i knew it...hahaz...i'm had mixed feelings...despair yet relieved...despair cos they chose not to give me a chance to prove my capability & i'm been rejected twice liaoz lehz but i'm relieved cos the hours are long & pay is low...i'm been thinking abt my whole job hunting experience tat probably i'm not cut for sales due to appearance...hahahaz...dun be mistaken...it's not tat i look down on myself...it's juz reality tat one has to face... juz think abt it...u've to dress well to be a sales assistant selling clothes, u've to have nice complexion & good makeup to sell cosmetics, u've to have 'the' face tat supervisors find pleasant....etc...customers need to be convinced....tat's why i dun apply those sales assistant jobs...cos i'm quite hopeless at all these...wahahahahazhowever...never say quit cos i wanna try being a 'backstage crew' instead...in terms of doing admin work, being a telemarketer...need not use my appearance to please customers mahz...hahahaz...so i'm going for another interview to try for telemarketing in the courtesy of ong's recommendation....i dun carry high hopes though...cos i dun think my voice tat great...hehehez...but talking is something tat i like...hehez...aiyahz...i rather take a paparazzi job...hahahaz...urgh...ugly side of life...luckily i'm still a student...so finding a job is not really priority at this pt of time...my plan is actually to start work during jan...wan to enjoy my dec holidays mahz...but because i'm facing some cash flow problems...hehez...so desperado lohz...ok... let's talk abt the fun side of my life...last mon is cool day...cos went to celebrate early bdae for ong with hui & shawn...we met during the evening to have a nice dinner...we ended up in a hong kong restaurant...the food was economical & the taste was not bad...we had a lot of fun talking & yaking...the shop tat we can eat ice-cream & play board games ( recommended by hui) is not opened on mon! yikes...so we went to a cafe instead to order a slice of blueberry cheesecake ( ong's fav) for ong & sing bdae song...hahaz...i knew ong was touched lahz...& she looked damn pretty...cos she got her makeup on...wahahahz...sorry...i still believe in natural beauty...hehehz...but glad tat all of us had fun!oohh...went out wif my bro & mum on wed to extend my bro's passport so can go holiday...then i realised this week's U weekly has KIM JEONG HOON on the cover lehz!!!! but it's all sold out liaoz...cos this week's copy costs only $1...ahhhhh...who has this copy??? can give me pls!!! :Pi managed to buy some clothes from this fashion in town area...hehez...selling cheap cheap...hahaz...the blast of the week...Kbox outing with my nyjc classmates for the 1st time on fri!!!! frankly speaking...though we had been classmates for 2 yrs...we never really hang out together...so i'm sooo excited...met syl first in parkway...then we shopped & talked till it's time to meet the others at the Kbox outlet...there are 5 of us (me, syl, peiwen, xiangling & huimin!) in the room...singing our hearts out frm 2-7pm...i realised tat their voices are good...and our taste of songs are similar....it's great to sing & even dance with them...tat's y i realised time passed so fast!!! later, we had dinner together at yoshinoya...hahaz...we had fun laughing & chatting! i really dun mind hanging out again together!i think i can juz blog one more time b4 i'm off to my holiday...now wat i'm looking for hor...is not my trip yet...it's STAR AWARDS 2006!!! yes...it's TML!!! it's a MUST WATCH!!! I'll strangle myself if I miss it lahz...cos i juz love to watch award ceremony!!! all the glitz, glam, thank-u speeches & overseas celebrities/idols (ahhh...Zheng Yuan Chang!!!) i even have a bet with my bro on the winners of each category...may the one with the good foresight win...hahaz....have a nice weekend to all! tat's my happy side of life!
